At some point we all gain a little more than anticipated... For me it's always been after pregnancy.
And now I am faced with another laborious task... losing that last ten pounds.
Those last ten are always the hardest must stubborn to lose. My scale has been at a stand still for a week and I refuse to wait any longer to make it move! I have even taken the drastic "haircut" move...
I was reading up on tricks of the trade to lose the pesky pounds and found out that the last few pounds are the hardest to lose because your body gets used to the routines and for every pound you lose throughout your weight loss journey, your metabolism slows up to 20%... WOW!

I am all for healthy and all for success so I am pulling out all the stops!
- Do more Interval Training (Insanity is PERFECT)
- Eat clean (no carbs after noon, limited sugar, limited salt, TONS of fruit and veggies, adequate proteins)
- Get an early workout in (wake up and get moving, if more time for a workout appears late in the day, go again).
- Fill up on the good stuff (grab an apple or celery stalk before a meal, you'll eat less of the meal and save money)
- Keep it moving (objects at rest, tend to stay at rest... don't stay still- her is when I do quad lifts, leg lifts, lunges and squats)
- Always do more (a minute more, a push up more, walk more... just a little more than the day before)
- Count calories (honestly, accurately and consistently)
